Both are v twins and both are louder than anything you've ridden with before. Both have upwards of 130hp and 71~ ft/lbs of torque.
My 749 went to a riding buddy on the DML, Jake. 2 other of our riding buddies from the DML also have RC's, Pete and Beattie. Things are gonna get hectic now...
But I breath a sigh of relief as I type this as I no longer have to live in fear of having spend $1k plus every few months just to tune up my bike. Nor do I have to worry about annoying oil leaks, electrical gremlins or live in fear of what can go wrong with the bike if I get caught in the rain. From now on all I'll have to do is replace fluids, tires, and every once in awhile a drivetrain. Valve check? What's that? A 15k service is how much?! $250? Word life.

Sorry I have been swamped, and then traveling.... sort of insane.
I can't believe you guys.... things are never gonna be the same....
word...i finally sold the SV. it (unfortunately) went to some frat kid across the rivers & into hoboken. alas, i finally got the rc that i've been eyeing for about a month or so. it's still not street legal, but should be very soon. it's pretty damn loud & the shit's a honda! HRC for life! i don't know why (well...yeah i do), but i'm just a honda fan & will probably always will be, so it was pretty awesome to get a bike that i used to watch on speedvision (before it became "speed") back in college. granted, i'll be going about 10% of what colin & toesland were pushing the bike, i'm pretty sure i (& the rest of the rc crew now) will be having lots of fun.
congrats on the new toys fellas! GREAT SUCCESS! can't wait to see all the new mods you two will do to the bikes in the future. hope you keep a photo log.
