"...messing around in the holland tunnel was pretty fun too though."

...and hot as f*ck! i thought i was gonna smack up because i was laughing so hard. every time i saw penguin chuckling (the entire length of the tunnel) i busted out laughing. ya'll some stupid mf'ers!

those pics are hot and you are all fools!!!

Marc, you are too off the hook! I know you really let it all out and enjoy yourself, which always has a way of taking to the next level of fun!

That is probably the best thing about rolling like that, we just enjoy ourselves.

I also learned how to ride this weekend and feel a lot better out there. So thanks UF, E and Marc for the pointers.

Lance, your big ass, can't believe you can throw that bike around like that. She is a big girl and you man-handle her. Kinda pimping...

WS, you know you are the sh*ts cause you keep up with E... A moment that will always be in my mind is seeing you roll down hill trying to jump start the bike... off the hook.

Can everyone upload their pics....? There were some cool pics, but these are really off the hook....

Man, what a great trip. You guys are best to hang with.
I'll have these memories for a good while...

-Sweet talking the Super 8 vending machine for dinner.
-The fine blonde in the Weschester motorcycle shop.
-SR26, oil and chips, Negro Rd.
-Causing a stir walking into the movie theater to see Superbad.
-Doug's epiphany with his Monster.
-Alan jump starting his ride like it was no big deal.
-i76 traffic jam shenanigans.

yeah, that trip was alright, like tremendous!
big ups to el penguin for puttin together the routes, and basically jumpstarting the whole thing.

good riding with you uncle fester, it's great watching you do the things you do on your bike, bone stock even! i'm really glad you made it for the trip, i think you really fit right in.

white shadow, hey, thanks for the link, i havent ordered 'em yet, but soon though. nice riding, nice bump starting, good laughs, good times. nice ipod case.

d2 aka sporty taliban aka dr dirty...man, its good to see you on that bike, pretty manacing looking in my mirrors, breathing down my neck on rt26. nice work on those chicken stripes. hot shit, you riding like that on brand new tires.

the sultan, wow, hard to believe you riding on the slab with you feet in the stirrups lookin like a giant spider, and then takin the twisties like that same bike ON KNOBBIES no less...cool as the other side of the pillow.

i'm just glad i could be a part of it all.

You're right, Marc. I don't say this enough myself. Eric deserves so much more of my gratitude for doing all that work with routes and rallying the troops. So a big thank you, bro, for all you do. It's appreciated.

I wish I could have enjoyed the Holland as much everyone else did. Unfortunately, my Tylenol dose must have wore off by that time. I hit bitch mode from all the dental and ear pain. That's why I was so snippy at the gas station getting directions home from you guys. I apologise for that.

Thanks for the kind thoughts UF, it really is appreciated!

Not to worry about your so called "behavior". I knew you were hurtin for certain and to be honest, my head was killing me too (helmet pinching my glasses). I just hope that we didn't annoy you too much with the honking and blipping!

glad ya'll like the flicks! i enjoyed taking them almost as much as i enjoyed kickin' it with ya'll fools.

lemme say my word and then take my ass to bed..

E, i've said it again and i won't get tired of saying it, cause it is the truth. YOU are the truth, the shiznits, with the route plotting, with getting us mobilized, with your fabrication and modification skills, as well as your riding skills. it amazes me how fast it took you to get dope on the bike as much as it amazes me how you sniff out routes and remember a million and one roads and their frickin' numbers. i swear that day you picked up the lil' monster, when you were tip toeing around and looking nervous you seemed to be a different person by the time we got to BK and were riding down court street! i knew you would be a speed demon and that you would learn quickly but i didn't expect it to be this quick. in that observation my focus, attention, even drive has increased because of you. word!

Shadow, as D2 put it, you are the sh*ts too and you've come a long way from passing the road test on the old honda to me pushing you to bump starting the sv ALL DAMN DAY to modifying and riding behind E comfortably. you two were like Maverick and Goose out there.
Penguin and his wingman Shadow.

UF, what can i say? it has been a pleasure riding with you. aside from you just being a funny dude, your personality shows in your riding. you simply enjoy it and your skills are tight to boot. watching you hang and play with your weight distribution also encourages me to play as well.
hope our beeps and blips didn't drive you crazy given your condition.

D2, my nizzle fa shizzle! i know you don't get to ride as much as you'd like to but there is a good reason for that... well, two actually. but having you there makes it all complete. your skills are as tight as your leather gear before a colonic but your humility, and focus on what we are really doing silently keeps me in check with the risks we are taking, as well as the fun we are having and always being open to learning helps to keep me balanced and keeps things in perspective and i appreciate that. because at the end of the day, we are just out to enjoy ourselves, each other's company, ride hard and get home safe. nothing more, nothing less. and then... you go and get all hardcore like you do when you come back from india and dip up the shoulder and pimp some harley riders on the interstate! i love that sh*t when you get hype like that. i get all brooklyn too cause i got your back brah!

Jinx, aka big brother, it was good hanging with you along with the crew because among other things, it is a reminder of how frickin' funny you are when i see how much you make other people laugh because it isn't just me laughing. it is hot how you copped the klr and got all up in her to make her work for you while managing a full family, mortgage, and risking your life at work every day. from 2-5 you had her engine braking, leaning, and the throttle wide open just like how you live your life every day. i know she's not the fastest but you treat her just as good as you would if she were (with your weekly oil changes and sh*t, j/k). sorry you were frustrated on the slabs when we dipped from time to time but you know it is all love love. if it means anything to you i was trying to keep your headlight in my mirrors when i was leading us back home, even though i missed the exit and we missed going thru SI, but who wants to go thru SI anyway?

sorry for the long post but you guys wrote such touching words i had to contribute.

lastly, i'm glad i got to take a little of the pressure off of E and lead us from time to time. Even if it was all boring slab and i missed 287 (the zumo told me the quickest way) i am glad i could contribute and lead us home safely.

you guys make me wanna cry with your sentimental comments here. it's hard for me to say anything that hasn't already been said, but i'll try & add a few things that i noticed about the trip & our group as a whole.

el penguin - hard to put it into words, but man am i glad that i get to ride with you most weekends. aside from you subsidizing my cigarette bumming habits (i'll get you this weekend) you have encouraged me to push myself & my bike to levels that i wouldn't ordinarilly on my own. you must be part native american or something with your way of sniffing out roads & finding the best road in any given area (even if it is gravel j/k). your riding level has increased & as i said before i appreciate you holding yourself back when we're behind you b/c we all know you gots more in the tank!

D2 - although we don't ride with each other all that often when we do it's always a blast. you're always playing down your skills with your self-deprecating humor. we all know you got skills & it's funny to see you play it down.

Sultan - who would've known that the guy who drove around the driving instructor for me to get my motorcycle license would turn out to be such a good friend? i know that you have some ridiculous skills b/c who else would take a GS1200 on rte. 26 with knobbies as fast as you do. oh, you give great bump starts too.

Jinx - you are one of the funniest & nicest ppl i've met here in ny. i honestly think you were a midwesterner from a previous life. it seems that no matter what bike you're on you'll take the bike to limit whether it's a heavy ass vulcan or a KLR. i still can't believe how close you stay with us on those bikes & can imagine how fast you'd be on a SS bike.

UF - you have a true style your own. with your crazy technique (which i've heard has been tweeked lately) & clean white wheels you're impossible to miss on the road. seeing how you reacted to the girls on the trip was like reminiscencing to my single days.
