well, i worked it out and put humpty-dumpty (that's a good nickname for her) back together again. didn't even have to drill out the bolt, just took off the inner side panel of the engine and accessed it from the inside, used a pair of needle nose pliers to back it out and, voila...extracted bolt.
changed the oil, loctite (blue) on the bolts, tightened bolts to factory torque specs, and out for a quick test ride. it's all gravy baby, and i'm rarin to go on our excursion! thanks for the support and i'll see y'all manyana!

Good to hear Jinx!
The inner panel? How smart. No mess or danger of mangling threads. Nice!
Damn dude... That is hot!
Yo, thanks for hooking me up today! You are the man....
yeah yeah yeah! it all went down smooth like butter once i got out that bolt with the help of my leatherman crunch. no drilling required, which was the best part.
no problem my man. traffic was alittle hectic getting out of BK this morning, but once i got into the tunnel, no worries. made it back in time to receive my package and put ol' gurl back together.
how are the new shoes d2?
that's awesome you got it together jinx! always work smarter not harder & that's exactly what you did. bravo!
oh, i just want to say that my bike looks the business (well...as much as it can) now & y'all are in for a surprise!

New exhaust already huh?
Oh, and I got a few surprises of my own...
well, a new to me exhaust. the shit looks hot! you get your rearsets & levers in?
"you get your rearsets & levers in?"
Si! But I couldn't get the fairing off so I couldn't install the brake pedal.. no biggie. Didn't want to do the levers since there's barely any light in the garage...
