waiting anxiously
hey man, we've been patient, but I just gotta know...can we see the new duc yet, or what? been thinking about it since your story/post and just wondering what's going on? i guess i could just as easily pick up the phone and find out directly, but it just seems so much more dramatic this way, checking the blog several times a day, looking for new updates. sh*t, i guess i should just unplug and get back to the real world, like lysol.

I've damn near chewed off all my nails, I CANNOT WAIT FOR IT!!!!!
But not to worry me good folks, after speaking to Dave he agreed with me that the bike should come into my hands as cherry as possible so... he needed time to replace the belts, all the fluids, sync the throttle bodies, change the battery, etc.
It'll be bewteen my legs tomorrow morning. Pics will be posted soon.
Meanwhile, I'll be keeping an eye on WS's bike while he's in Cali... anyone wanna come over and do burnouts with me? Mad stuntz son!!

Tomorrow. As in I'm not going to work cause they're dropping it off tomorrow morning. Thursday.
I'll play with it, fondle it, make a few changes (adjustable seat height AND reach, WHAT?!), install the GPS/RD, then I'll go snap one off and go back to sleep!

Naaa brah... I'm gonna open up the clutch for that famous Ducati rattle, I'm gonna put in an HID so I don't hit any deer, I'm gonna put on that clear plastic stuff to protect the tank and THAT'S IT. This bad boy is gonna get sold sometime this year, R1 here I come...
I still can't believe how this all unfolded. Just too surreal.
Sounds like your head is in a good place too. I hope most of the stress from this situation is past you. Then we can have a proper celebration for the new family member.
I know with new cars, I'd toss my pocket change on the floor mats for luck. But what does one do for motos?
