So I took the afternoon off to come home early cause my hoopty was getting picked up by the guys at Chronic Motorsports. I left Dave (the owner/wrench) a list of things that need attention, and a list of things to ignore.
Though I've been hating on my bike lately I have to admit... I was a little sad to see it go. It was all strapped down in back of the truck. It looked lonely. Shit, it didn't even look like my bike, I guess cause being in a truck is so out of context. It did look hot though.
I'll be taking the day off on Friday to pick that bitch up waaayyyy out on LI... on the way home I'll be taking Ocean Pkwy... I wonder if it'll do 145mph...

Ok, maybe you do. The service is gonna come in around the $1200 range but that includes fork oil swap and lubing the swingarm pivot, and dyno testing. The main reason I decided to go to Chronic, other than the rave reviews was that they were able to pick up my bike, and supposedly have back to me by Friday. No other area shop could've promised that, look at what happened to UF, he waited for more than a month!
at least they're picking it up & you'll be getting it back soon. that's gotta be worth at least an extra $1K.
i just saw your price...damn you're paying almost as much for your service as i did for my ride. lol i hope a hooker comes out & gives you a bj while you wait for them to finish up on friday.
