Blah blah blah, no time, no permission, no cheddar. I know all about it. But check this out... I don't know about y'all but I'm thinking, instead of my cross country trip that I was talking about (won't happen this year at all!!), I was thinking of doing a 5-6-7 day trip down the to the Dragon and surrounding roads cause they are the most amazing roads we can find relatively close to home. I figure 2 days going south, 2 days riding the area, and 2 days coming home. I'm thinking late summer (August/September).
Is it all possible for somebody other than myself to go? After my last long solo ride and the mechanicals I had, I really rather not do it alone... but I will if I must.

oh, btw...riding 530 miles on the slab isn't that much fun...thank god for the ipod.
wow, that's around the time of the year we have pegged for family vacation, probably a week in AC. Then I have a golf outing the 5-7th of Sept. I don't think there's anyway I can pull this one off, but if you can come up with specific dates, i'll take a shot in the dark.
I don't specific dates nailed down just yet, all I know thus far is that we'd be leaving very early on a Monday morning (4am) and be returning late Saturday night.
The first 2 days will be mostly slab with some twisties thrown in to break up the boredom, then twisties the whole rest of the time until the final legs home.
As far as dates though, let's try and nail it down now. We can either do August 27, September 3, 10, or 17 (all dates are Mondays). I'm opening to all dates, you guys let me know what's good for you.
