so after helping out the sultan with his pipes this afternoon, i decided to see what i could do about installing my Vapor cycle computer.
mistake number one: it was probably 12:30 when i decided to start, IN THE MORNING! that was dumb, but i figured I would get the ball rolling, and then finish up tomorrow afternoon.
mistake number two: should've waited for support from my crew. my impatience got the better of me, again. two heads are better than one, though it wouldn't have made a difference in this case.
the sensor for the speedometer is an "L" shaped bracket that has to be attached to the brake caliper, and the magnet replaces one of the bolts on the hub rim. long story short, the sensor does not clear the fork leg when attached to the brake caliper, and so, at two thirty, I start packing up and putting the bike back together. it's almost three thirty now, and the kids will probably be up around six thirty. nice.
at least tomorrow, i wont spend half the day doing this, maybe i'll take a nap, and then go for a nice afternoon ride.

np marc. just get some sleep!
hey all, picked up thisjacket today this spot
in LI. Nice spot and they carry a lot of bikes, seem pretty nice, but busy. I figured you ducatisti could use another service option instead of DucSoho and out of state joints. they are just over the queens LI border on Jericho tpke (Jamaica ave becomes Jericho once you cross into LI).
anyway, the jacket is the sh*t! just what i've been looking for.
word, that jacket is hot! thanks for the link, i was trying to find it. still thinking about that Rev'it ignition jacket though...
yo, that is a hot jacket... how much?
You are so crazy staying up like that.... the fever won't stop....
"You are so crazy staying up like that.... the fever won't stop...."
tell me about it... around the time Jinx started working on his bike, i took mine out for a ride. Got home about 2:30, stayed up till 3, got up at 8 something.
It is amazing how we've been going non-stop....and i don't see an end in sight. my thing is to always stay present, alert, and on point, especially since a lot of us commuters on these things. staying alert when becoming more and more comfortable is critical
the jacket was $349 plus tax. time for bed, but of course, i had to put it on one more time, especially since it's supposed to rain tomorrow.
in the immortal words of the producer formerly known as Puff Daddy "I thought I told you that we wont stop!"
