just took ole girl out for a spin, remembering why I love her so much. 1470cc's of v-twin power, man, I completely forgot. I hit 85 in third gear and thought she sounded pretty happy, then I remembered we had another one, at 75 in fourth, sounded like she was asleep. Sure, she takes the bumps hard and she doesn't really like to turn so much, but on a nice stretch of open highway, we were happy together.
With much angst, tonight I will put her up for sale on eBay and maybe Craig's List. A sad day, but hopefully, no one will want to buy her(I'll ask for $4500 OBO, heh heh), and I will have to keep the old girl around for awhile longer. But really, it just ain't right.

yeah, it was our first "intimate" encounter WS, glad you were able to stay on the back. good thing I didn't armor all the seat.

tempted, but if we are gonna be bouncing around the city, and bad weather's a possibility, it'll be the KLR for me. she actually LIKES potholes.
so what's the tentative route?. trying to decide if i should wear my full get-up or just the jacket & icon pants.
I have no idea where we're gonna go... could be CT, could be LI, it's up to y'all. Either way, if we go to CT, I won't have a route (no Zumo), and if go to LI we'll end up doing the standard loop. I will have the radar detector though...
alright...i guess i'll power ranger it up then. better safe than sorry.
