so, i took one of the shims off the carb needle, and it runs even better than before, snappier throttle response, little angrier growl (sounds like an angry lawn mower now). i may do the airbox mod, plus cut some shit off my tail section, maybe paint some shit black too, ah, who knows. hope i get that gps though.

thinking about staying home and getting into those pipes tomorrow, although i need to study. ordered my k & n high flow air filter from autozone so that should come soon & they had the best price of all spots online that i saw. gotta do an oil change and need some new front brake pads real soon.
Sultan - are you going to have your ecu tuned after the exhaust and air filter mods? You should cause it's not like you can play with the carbs or jetting on your bike... there are none!
If you don't your bike's gonna run too lean...
dunno, never heard anyone talk about that on any blog. i'll look into it. Jinx and I just finished installing pipe and filter... fun! we were in my dark garage but everything was contained and i didn't want to strap pipes to the bike to ride anywhere, wait for them to cool, etc... shit looks and sounds gangsta!!! i'm hype!
Jinx should have some help or at least some moral support when he installs his new digital speedo/trip computer/dashboard thingy. when are we doing bike detail day?! that's what i'm wondering.
