i just wanted to give ya'll/us a shout out right quick....
Inspired by a conversation i had with D2 on IM earlier today and El Penguin's last thread!
D2 is hopefully about to snag a dope new gig and get paid more to do what he does so well, be ing dope. Definitely one of the most talented/creative/intelligent cats I have ever met/known.
Jinx, well, what can i say? you've always been my greatest source of inspiration, aside from Pops of course, but he was beyond in age and dopeness, you were there within reach and available, which is hot! thanks. beyond that, two lil' ones, a wife, a crib, two cars & two bikes, and you run marathons and run into burning buildings...word!
Shadow, i don't know much about what you do or much about you but you are a cool cat and you are married and ya'll own a crib in one of the illest neighborhoods in bk so thats wassup. i was impressed watching you do all them damn circles and figure 8's at the road test on the old honda, sh*t made me dizzy and i was nervous for you but you skill'd it.
bullet, not gonna get too much into this cause i'm not sure when you'll read this but there weren't many cats at the phone company i found cool. you got a lil' girl and the love is obvious, you are a motivated cat who moves in ninja-like ways at times, i guess that is why you ride that blacked out beast. i'll leave it there, but stay up and holla at your boy.

as for me....
i've been in the house all day trying to study for this broker's license exams i have tomorrow and monday, getting ready to step my game up a bit or 4. between the obsession with the bike, helping my sister move, broker's classes, the short film showcase, work ( got three new exclusive listings and two deals this week as well which i'm happy about), trying to find a honey dip who can deal with my particular ass to lock down, and a bunch of other things that seem to occupy a lot of time..., i've been busy. it is always hard for me when i feel stagnant, which i feel i have been on and off for the longest but i know i'm my toughest critic. i guess that is the goat in me, always climbing the mountain, and ya'll know my health (mind, body, spirit) is extremely important so that always takes precedence. but i've been trying to balance out what i can see and feel and create what i want to see.
anyways... back to studying.
just had to share that with ya'll

awww, gee thanks lance! i'm glad to hear you're getting out of your stagnant phase b/c i know all about that. i too have been feeling that way about my career lately and have been looking for a job (funny, all but marc are doing some form of career change lately - or at least trying). all, i can really say about our crew is that even though i don't know most of you well, y'all have taken me in & made my life bearable in the big city. being from fly-over country, living here has been hard the last few years w/ my career not taking off & me really missing having a garage & working on my shit w/out worrying about getting hit by a car. since we all started riding & BSing, things are a lot more bearable & for that i am thankful. word.
y'all are gonna have me gettin emotional and sh*t. we might have to do "brunch".
no, but seriously though, i need to have you all over here one afternoon to talk about bike sh*t and life in general, hang out, see the place and maybe even do some wrenching and modding. i don't live far away by motorcycle, so let's try to find a day. or even after a "not so epic ride" read=shorter, we could end up by me for a wash down-coolout session afterwards.
i have a big yard and plenty of light, and a motorcycle jack!
Kind words Sultan, it's good to know we all share very similar sentiments. I'm looking forward to the Brazil trip 10 years from now!

Tires will be here next week, will be putting those on asap. My drivetrain isn't in that bad of shape especially since i started lubing it!
I'll be ordering chain & sprockets soon though.
E, where you getting your tires put on? i need to swap back to my road joints but don't want to pay another $100+ to do so.
Don't know where I'm going to get my sneakers mounted, maybe Willy uptown if I can get a ride...

Ya'll are so queer it is unbearable! That is why I have a tattoo that says SKDMRKS. Ya'll are my fam! Was telling the lady about that today. No matter what, when and where... SKDMRKS is always there.
She was like: You are crazy. I was like: No I am SKDMRKS! And she was like: Whatever!

WS... glad you are part of the crew... it is all love... We are an eclectic bunch and that is the strength and not some drones trying to band together. it is hot that we are striving to improve our lives, albeit work, love, relationships, family, holding it down, whatever. Shit is real and we are trying to make it happen...

i know they have some less toxic ink out there but i have yet to research it. you know me, i don't do anything until i'm ready, or i think i'm ready.
E, i had cross country bmw swap em for me and i left the metzeler's at the shop, need to go pick them up actually. willy's price is probably close to theirs so unless we can find a cheaper spot...
sucks though, i remember reading online that some dealership or shop on the west coast somewhere offered tire swaps for like $10 a pop. no lie. $5 for balancing, etc... and it was no special either.
lets make this detail day happen and lets build on the tire change kit if ya'll are interested.
