this website from a dealership in Lynchburg (do white people cringe when they see/say that word too?) has a huge advantage on the market for two reasons.
1. their accessory prices are cheaper than every other bmw dealership
2. they have a complete parts fiche available to anyone and accessible online.
....how dope is that?!

don't most bmw dealers have fiches on their sites? then again...i'm sure only a small % of bmw owners actually work on their own bikes. still, that's pretty dope. also, yes, us whiteys cringe when we hear anything with lynch in the word.
actually it seems a lot of heads work on their own beemers. they are pretty easy to work on and sites offer kits for the scheduled services...ie: 6k service kit for under $60-80 for the parts. as far as fiches on their sites...in my experience searching online, this is the only one i've ever seen. i've been to a number of dealership's sites. very convenient though.
i've always been able to get parts fiche for my kawi's online, easy as pie. i just figured all bike manufacturers made this available. a dealership that has accessories at a discount is pretty dope, though.
E, have you experienced this to be true about
ducati service ?
yeah Marc, parts fiche available isn't anything new but i think it is dope that a dealership has one as comprehensive as that on their website...
speaking of parts fiches...a website i used to go to for the ol' honda was by far the best i'd seen. they have theirs set up so that you remotely access their server & are able to view any honda moto fiche from '69 - which as you can imagine is a shit load of bikes. plus, they told you when a part was disc. (most don't). they were also the cheapest. makes me almost want another honda...
yeah, that's kinda dope, knowing which parts are discontinued, 'specially if you like the old school bikes like this or this. that last one, 748 two-stroke triple with 120 bhp and top speed 180+ what!!!
oops, sorry, posted the same link twice, the two stroke triple is here.
yeah, i thought so. i was like "wapada? that looks like the same bike..."
2 smokers. yeah, son! now we're talking.
