the link just led me to the bmw blog site of which i am not a member, and thusly am not allowed to participate ('cause they think they're so friggin special, or something, whateva!). but I know where you'll be, and it sounds like a great time, and best of all, it's free, which is great, if you ride a bmw (which i DON'T).
oh, sorry. i thought ya'll could see it because i sent my co-worker a link for one of the chicks who will be there and he was able to see her pictures... anyways, here is a little write up about it.
This April 20-22, XPLOR's first event kicks into high gear with a dual sport ride in New Jersey's Pine Barrens. Here, XPLOR members who love riding off-road will bomb down the sandy back roads of the Pine Barrens, as well as grab riding tips from Paris-Dakar rallyist Jimmy Lewis. There's also a catered lunch and dinner, and nighttime entertainment. If you dream of whoops and sand, register for the "XPLOR the Pines" ride today.
that sounds awesome lance! man, i keep hearing/seeing stuff on here (as well as the forum i go to) that makes me really want a dirtbike. damn i miss that thing...
Just don't hurt yourself at the beginning of the season..
have tons of fun in the dirt and come back with lots of stories. If you come back with pictures I am going to know you were not riding...
yo, first you insult me by telling me not to ride with my cases, who do i look like, ewan mcgregor with a camera crew and a satellite phone?
then you say "just don't hurt yourself?" where is the faith in your boy?
i just hope the weather will be nice. i'll be happy with something near 60 degrees and no rain but we'll see. i've been dying to take the grashupfer in the dirt & it'll be dope getting some professional instruction and riding with a crew.
aside from that, i'm taking flicks when i can and trying to score with one of the chick riders that have signed up(there are a few, some are pushing the same bike too) cause i got a big ol' king sized bed and my own room. holla!
