I just wanted to share a few more photos from the racing school...1) the closest shot the photographer caught of me trying to get that knee down. 2) the great Kevin Schwantz. Do you guys know that when he raced in MotoGP, he maintained standard shifting (1-down, 5-up) while everyone else used the reverse GP-shifting pattern? Don't know why that's so significant to me, but seeing as GP shifting is deemed to be the "better" style for road racing, and this dude stayed with the regular style and still won championships is pretty cool to me. 3) the class...a pretty cool group of people who came from all over and whos lives were as diverse as their reasons for taking this class...

bullet, you suck! j/k. i always cheered for rainey back in the day, but now that i've got a 'zuki i think he's a pretty good guy. & he raced with standard shift? that's pretty impressive. surprised he never had issues with his foot dragging. cool pics btw.

The jealousy of The jinx and D2 and of course the purchase of the largest sport bike ever made so that the Sultan can put his knee down and actually lean the bike, cause his knees can touch the ground without having to lean the bike.

Shadow (D, I like that too!)- You should have seen me asking Schwatnz how he did it after asking him to repeat the fact that he rode that way about 3 times! He said he just timed his shifting entering and exiting turns so he never had to keep his foot under the shifter while leaned over. Crazy!
D- Ever saw Michael Jordan on a racetrack? I found some clips of him on youtube...check it out! That should give the Sultan some inspiration...
oh snap! you got jokes...they had a rare all black K1200 S at bmw manhattan yesterday... shit was looking right! that is a sport bike that can do it all and it has bmw reliability and engineering and that shit is blazing fast! full fairing but i don't mind that. and i fit pretty darn well on it. pipe it out, black out the rims, take off the doofy stuff...for real, that might be my next scoot... when i pay for this one in a few years! or if i decide to trade mine in and get on the track that'll probably be it.
i'm all about black on black now. my next whip will be and my next bike will match most likely.
michael jordan can afford to have a bike made for him! i gotta peep those clips.
