while, that bike looks a little too angular for my tastes, i still really like it.
yeah, beemer's appeal to the younger rich cats. dope bike but after riding a high performance full fairing sport bike for a few years i don't want all that power on a naked bike. get blown the F* off. when i first got my GS, i took a ride to bear mtn during the break-in period and met this dude who had just copped one...then he told me he copped a gs two weeks before that! i calculated quickly, shook my head, and went to sit on a rock to eat my fruit. shit! i should've given him my card! dude dropped $30+ in two weeks on bikes as a new rider...
speaking of bmw owners...my wive's aunt & uncle are in town from cali with one of their friends. why do i bring that up? b/c the dude has 3 bmws. i don't remember all the models, but i do remember that he had both a GS & an R1200 S...i stopped paying attention after i heard that...apparently he was a mx champ from back in the day (so, long ago that i didn't recognize him) that owns a couple of restaurants. i think i'm in the business...
