i replaced the regulator/recifier & the front turn signals (b/c they got messed up when i swapped out the headlight bracket) & everything seems kosher. i'll have to take it out for a ride tomorrow, but everything seems to be all good.
oh, it's supposed to be in the 60s tomorrow & wednesday (hi of 67 in brooklyn). so, who wants to skip work and go for a ride?

why u swapping yours out again for? i'm getting the last thing i need to do the swap tomorrow. so, any day after that i can do them. friday after work maybe?
I might be swapping back to the Cyclecats cause after yesterday's ride my neck was killing me. I'm soft, I know. The Cyclecats would put the bars about an inch higher than the way it's currently set up. I'm still up in the air about it though, I need a 12+ hour ride to make a decision.
But yes, Friday sounds good. Apart from the clip ons, I have a throttle lock (not a throttlemeister), new grips (Pro Gels), and the radar mount to install.
yeah, i thought it may have been how low the other ones were. crazy how much lower your bike is than mine even with clip ons. i've got another set of grips & a r6 throttle tube (supposed to make it 1/5 turn to WOT opposed to the stop 1/4 turn to WOT). oh, i got the chain lube today too.
i was thinking about riding tomorrow
so, i ordered a nice SK torque wrench today. since e & i are the only ones who work on our bikes i guess this really only pertains to him. anyway...anyone who needs to use it is welcome to. word?

i'm sorry i made the assumption that e & i were the only ones who "worked" on our bikes. so, let me reiterate, if anyone needs a torque wrench (even if it only is to torque down the srews that hold the plastic in place on your turn signals) i will soon have a new one that y'all are welcome to use. word?!

So you know, I have 1/4 inch drive Syntace good for 1-20 NM, and a 3/8 Snap on good for everything else. WHAT?!
true, e, true...the thing is i didn't know if you have a torque wrench that went up high enough for stuff like steering stem nuts, axles, etc. i had a 3/8" SK, but it only went up to 250 in/lbs. the new one goes up to 100 ft./lbs. so...now you know. word!?
