okay, here's the question

how do you hook up the gps to a bluetooth headset that will give you good stereo sound from your ipod but still have the option of speaking thru a mic for phone calls and/voice commands? how about this
i don't know if it has been released yet though. doesn't seem like it.
can anyone find the mic on the headset? the gps turning directions and music are the most impt as i'm not trying to talk to anyone while i'm riding but i'm curious.

i'm thinking about this for a gps one day, not sure when. the alpine is dope looking but doesn't seem to be bike friendly.

side note: how did that chick with the annoying voice get a job on espn sportscenter? she's the worst! the question is rhetorical btw, i was just hoping espn had higher standards. i'm glad the sister got a job and all but i'm sayin' though...

all those things you posted are dope! i'm not really into the GPS for directions, more to keep track of the routes we take so that we can plot them on google maps. still...pretty dope.

BTW MotoGP starts today! the practice times are up & team "fix it again tony" are 1-2 in the first session. can't wait!!! if anybody wants to watch it later i'll save it on my DVR.

I'm not sure how many devices you can hook up to a bluetooth helmet, and if you can hook up more than one thing, I'm not sure how you can assign "priority". Meaning, if you're listening to your ipod, I don't know how to make the gps "cut in" when it's time for it to speak.
Dude on the Ducati forum doen'nt have bluetooth but he has a y splitter that he hooked up to his ipod and radar detector. When he listens to music the radar detector will supercede the music when it goes off so he has the best of both worlds.

Lance, you need to check out this site. This where I got the mount for the radar detector. They got some nice toys for your bike!

E, thanks for the link. As far as priority is concerned I think how it works is if you hook your mp3(or maybe just load your mp3's on it) and cell to your gps, the system does the rest. navi commands and tele conversations cause music to fade or pause. but having more than one bluetooth accessories is the problem you were talking about right? maybe that is what the motorola thing takes care of.
i didn't see a lot for my bike in particular, except for HID fog lights...did you see something i missed?

My bad, it seemed like they had a lot for your bike, I guess not. I suppose any "gadget" seems like a lot to me cause they don't make shit for a Duc. All they shit I'm doing (HID, radar, etc) isn't meant for a Duc so techincally I've already voided my warranty!

However...HID fog lights on your whip would be crazy!!

i know, i KNOW! they have so many different ways to set them up but them shits are expensive!!!

seeing as how i watch far too much TV, DVR is definitely worth it. for all the soccer, hockey, f1 & now moto races i watch it's worth it. i'll be DVRing every motogp race, so if you guys miss one, come over to my crib & you can watch it.
