Got these recently. At first they seemed OVERKILL but after thinking about how much I like my hands, nothing else seemed good enough.
Kangaroo leather, kevlar stitching, injected molded armor all over including the wrap around wrist, pinky and ring fingers sewn together! They weren't cheap but at least I know if I crash I'll still be able to snap one off cause my hands will have survived.

sell me a pair of your old gauntlet gloves then...my new ones are "alright", but i'd like another set to compare them to.
Yeah, I think we wear the same size. You'll have to come to see what I got. I'll only be wearing these gloves on all day rides though. They really are too much for a putt putt commute into the city.
