Left work early today to try and beat the rain that I thought was coming. Luckily it didn't pour down on me. Since I was home early I went to the garage to play bikes. I installed my cheap
throttle lock. I was looking for a throttlemeister but nobody can tell me which model would work with my brand clipons. Tried calling throttlemeister direct but they couldn't tell me either so fuck'em. This Vista Cruise is a bit ghetto looking but let me tell you, it's the SHIT!! With a quick flick of my thumb my throttle can be locked or unlocked, I can ride to work with no hands now if I want! D2, I know you said you might want a throttle lock so I think you should get this one, it was only $32!
Also installed my BMW-like radar mount, it threads into my mirror holes that I don't use. Tested out the radar detector too. Rode by the po po's house over on 4th ave and sure enough it told me there's bacon around. Hopefully this will be a big help to me/us in the quest for not getting pulled over.
Finally, I put on my new grips cause I decided to keep the current clip ons. I safety wired them on too, no more loose grips in the rain! I gots plenty of wire left over so if y'all want your wired up too just lemme know.

glad to see i'm not the only one doing a little wrenching today. i finally swapped out my clipons since i got my 32mm socket, new grips (yes, another new pair), & the r6 throttle tube (1/5 turn to WOT opposed to 1/4 turn). didn't ride it afterward b/c the wifey got home & wanted to eat. it doesn't feel a whole lot different, but i think it's better, mainly b/c i have more room to work with the adjustment of the brake/clutch levers on the bars. that throttle lock sounds sweet though, e.
The throttle lock seems hot... it is kinda like another ring I have heard about...
