Yep, I saw that. I ended up getting am Escort Solo S2, the best "cordless" detector out there right now. I'm also gonna get this when it comes out. It's supposed to be the SHIT.
i doubt i'll need the radar detector, but the heads up display for speed and gear was pretty dope though.
where'd you cop the escort from? just curious. i'm not really feeling the need for one either marc but what they need to do is build one into a gps system...that'll be dope.
i'm not trying to be like one of them beemer dudes with a whole f'n dashboard...garage door opener (although i'd like to be able to program a key chain transmitter so i don't have to carry around this big shit), radar detector, gps, camera mount, 8 track player, compass...
I don't think I need a dectector either. True I'm always speeding, but I do it smart. I just wanted just in case cause the last I/we got pulled over, the cop creep up on me.
Also, I don't care about the tickets themselves, I'd just pay the fines, but its the points and insurance rates I'm concerned about. Radar dectector... if it buys me some piece of mind then it will have benn worth it.
i hear you brah! do u! knowing one of us has one will be cool. i speed often too, but in short spurts and in between cruisin' mode. having two big ass mirrors and a good vantage point from being so high to see the po-liggity def helps. plus a lot of slab experience from speeding in various cages over the years comes in handy. i must say though, motorcycle engine braking even just coming off the throttle is the shit.
radar this, gps that... wireless my this... motogp to my dvr to my klr with my duc to detect that... it is all groovy baby! i am just happy that no crack head messed with my bike all week, it started right up and I was able to ride into work today...
so go on with your bad self and radar to the bluetooth and get your dvr to dvd to the moto-GP!!!
