and how google text got me...

so this morning I woke up, like most morning, hoping to ride my bike. Before I could really open my eyes, I stumble through the key pad to type in: 11217 weather. Send to google. (46645 leave out the "e" for efficient, I guess). Wait about 3-5 seconds and you get a few days forecast.

This morning it said, chances of rain. Humidity 83% Now, I know meteorology is part science part art... but I will be damned if it is not sunny with birds chirping outside.

my favorite weather service: go to the window or door, open it up, look outside, then do what you want to do anyway.
no riding for me yet. i picked up the sea foam, as you suggested Alan, but the bike with the shluggy (my word, anyone can use it though) carbs was very hard starting and i eventually killed the battery. so i pulled it and it's on the trickle charger now. hopefully i'll have her running by the weekend.

see... I normally, wake up, and before my eyes are even open, I have decided to ride. But not today. I thought, hmmmm.... eric does not ride in the rain. He is good to his bike. Maybe I should be nicer. So I did the text bit. Then I texted Eric and he said "no-riding for him". Then he suggested: "Do you". Then I thought... if I had a beemer... no question about it. But my baby is rather sensitive. Well not really, but I should treat it better. So now are both sad...

marc, i dont' know if you can easily access your carb(s), but if you can spray a little (i mean little) starting fluid in there that will help. also, you'll probably want to pull the plug(s) and at least clean them up b/c they're probably fouled. so, clean the plug(s) & try with the newly charged battery & that should get the ball rolling.

thanks Alan. carb acces on my bike is a pain in the *ss, so i'll make that my last resort, but i'll definitely pull the plugs and clean 'em up.
