"So how was the ride? My phone died and I wanted to sleep in today. Glad I stayed local. Been trying to catch up on rest."
The ride was nice, same as the last one up north recently;just nice and chill. I know the 3 of you couldn't make it but once the season really hits I expect better attendance! Good ride Lance!
On a side note, the throttle lock is DOPE. Used it on the way home. I kept it in the locked position but was able to use the throttle as normal, then when I wanted to I could take my hand off! I was able to speed up and slow down with it locked, then I got to stretch my hand!
yeah, it was good to get out there a bit. we had some good ol' belt pkwy bumper to bumper traffic and ur boy got his white line on... which i know ya'll know is a struggle on the grasshopper. those are the times i wish i was on a sport bike with foldable mirrors or bar end mirrors. i only clipped one side mirror though, i think it was a buick with some ugly ass chrome mirrors so who cares? what else? a few twisties, nice and easy, and a little stop by the north shore to chill and have a snack. you know, big mansions, lots of white folk, lots of choppers, a few crotch rockets, it was fun listening to el penguin's bike though! all i have to say is thank little baby jesus for the ability to feel vibration otherwise i would've had to check my tachometer to see if my bike was on. yo e, that little 695 sounds dope, like a big boy bike. i know that fuckin' idiot on the gsx-r on the jackie robinson with a full face without a face shield who couldn't seem to sit still on his bike for more than 2 seconds literally was confused when he saw and heard you ride by. yo, matter fact, dude kind of pissed me off, i wanted to mush him but his wild ass would've made a mess of us.
last thing. i peeped the map, we were looking at greenwich, ct. across the water. i think the tall bldgs to the right was downtown stamford, where i used to teach.
