Motorcycle Insurance NYS

just found out that motorcycle insurance doesn't cover personal injury and/or medical expenses for the rider in NYS. It only covers the passenger and/or if you injure someone else.
guess i'll be paying these bills myself...

make sure you have health insurance fellas... i was in the process of researching companies but unfortunately didn't have any at the time of the accident and you know they aren't going to cover pre-existing conditions. it is a good thing the injuries were fairly minor and that i didn't take that expensive taxi ride in an ambulance...
